Add Extra Colors to a Range

Please note: This feature is only available in the Designer and Publisher Editions of StitchCraft.

StitchCraft has many of the popular Thread, Bead and material ranges already built into the software. However from time to time manufacturers may add colors to their existing range that is yet to be entered into the software. In this situation you can use these tools to add new colors to the ranges.

To add material, bead and thread colors:
1. Click on Tools, Options for System then Customize Material Colors or Customize Bead Colors or Customize Thread Colors. The same steps apply for each.
2. The Calibrate Colors dialog box opens.

Select the thread Brand and Type that you want to customize, the existing colors will then be displayed in the large box.
3. To enable customization you must first put a check in the Enable Custom Colors checkbox.
4. To add a new color to the range click the Add New Item button, you will then need to enter a catalog number for the new color. The color mixer then opens where you can mix the color, click OK when you are happy with the color.
5. The new color now appears with a letter N on it, this indicates that it has been added to the range. To remove the new color at any stage select it and click the Delete button.
6. If at any time you wish to revert to the original default brand palette, you can remove the check from the Enable Custom Colors box.
7. Click OK, your customizations will be saved and will be available every time you open StitchCraft.
