StitchCraft 2002 - Known Issues

If you are still running StitchCraft 2002 you may have the following problems:

 

Problem 1:  Reinstalling StitchCraft on a New Computer
Affects: StitchCraft Designer & Publisher Editions running on XP, Vista or Windows 7.
Description: On XP, Vista and Windows 7, StitchCraft Designer & Publisher Editions need to latest update to complete correct registration unless you are using a hardware lock.
Solution A: 1) Load your software from your CD.
2) Make sure StitchCraft is closed.
3) Download and run the update from:
    www.stitchcraft.info/users/update2002.htm
4) Start StitchCraft and register the copy using your Serial Number.
5) Send us your serial number and the 4 digit code so we can send back the last four digits.

Pay to upgrade to the latest version of StitchCraft:

 
Problem 2:  Registration Codes
Affects: StitchCraft Designer & Publisher Editions running on XP, Vista & Windows 7.
Description: On XP, Vista & Windows 7, StitchCraft Designer & Publisher Editions may keep becoming unregistered and require a new code.
Solution A: 1) Check the version number on your copy of StitchCraft.
2) If it is less than 3.11 u, then download the last free update for StitchCraft 2002:
    www.stitchcraft.info/users/update2002.htm
3) Start StitchCraft and register the copy using your Serial Number.
4) Send us your serial number and the 4 digit code so we can send back the last four digits.

Problem 3: Hardware Locks
Affects: StitchCraft Designer & Publisher Editions supplied with Hardware Locks..
Description: If you have bought a new computer which does not have a parallel port, then you will be unable to plug your StitchCraft Hardware lock in.
Solution A: Pay to upgrade to the latest version of StitchCraft:
Or Solution B: Get your IT person to add a card with a compatible parallel port.
